• « J Stolen Goods Worth £158 How a baby's perambulator was used by thieves to carry away ^jooty from a Glasgow warehouse, was described at, Glasgow Sheriff Court lately, when iour young men were sent to prison for baving stolen 83 dresses and three eoatees from a warehouse off Candle- * liggs. The men were Henry Allan, Francis McMenamin, William Dunlo-p, and Michael Allan. It 'was stated thaf^thev climbed up a stack-pipe and entered the warehouse through a skylight. One of the men took a perambulator lo tlie door. The stolen goods, to the value of £158, were then placed in it and wheeled awav. 1 McMenamin and Dunlop wero each sent to prison for four months, while Michael Allan was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, and Henry Allan to 30 days'.
