DUKE POSTPONES AMERICAN VISIT
(Received 6, 12 noon). PARIS, Nov. 5. It is officially stated that tho Duke of Windsor has postponed his visit to America. The Duke and Duchess lunched at the British Embassy. A statement issued on*behalf of ' t(b.e Duke says: ."His Royal Highness has arrived at the decision with great reluctanCe and after much deliberation, but he feels that, owing to the grave misconceptions which have arisen and to ■the misstatements which have appeared regarding the motives and * purpose of hib industrial tour, ho has no alternative but tov def er hia visit for the present."
