PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mesdames Preston and Pepperell, of Waipawa, are in Wellington attending the annual conference of tho New Zealand Plunket Society. Sergeant D. Clark returned to Wairoa from Auckland on Thursday. Mr and Mrs W. Dinnan, of Morrinsville, are on a visit to Wairoa and are staying with Mr and Mns J. Dinnan, Queen street. Mr C. Mackay, who has been. on a holiday visit to Sydney, returned to Wairoa on Thursday evening. Mr R. Rogers, wEo had been a patient in the Wairoa Hospital for some time, diect on Thursday at the age of 86 years. His wife predeceased him some years ago, and it is believed that he had no relatives in the Domihion. The funeral took place yesterday. Mr H. F. Marks, on furlough from Malaya, left for Gisborne on Thursday aftei: epending several days in Wairoa.
