PALMERSON N., This Day. Beautiful weather prevails" for th* opening of the Royal Show, which extcnds till Saturday. There are very large increases in entries in the stock classes, particularly liorses. Tho animals represent the finest collcction ever dssemhled on ono ground in tho Domin-. ion. There arc also oxceptionally large entries in tho Manawatu Kennel Club Show, i'or which the internationally-j kuown judgo, Mr G. Steadman Thonias, United States, has been broughtj over to judge. Tho Governor-General opens the show this afternoon.
