Small Attendance at Meeting

ELSTHORPE, Last Night. The annual general meeting of tne Elsthorpe Sports Club was held in the Elsthorpe Hall, Mr T. Wilder presiding over a small attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The balancesheet showed credit of £46 4/10.' The annual report and balance-sheet of the A.C. and A. TJnion (Waipukurau centre) was presented. Owing to the small attendance it was decided to defer the election of officers until the next meeting, when a more representative number of members is present. It was decided that, subject to confirmation, the date of the sports be Thursday. January 13. The secretary, Mr T. Priest, was voted an honorarium iu appreci.ation of his services.
