WELLINGTON, Last Night. McKenzie's Department Stores report that for more than six months' trading the profits have been more thau maintained. The directors recommend an interim dividend of 9 per cent. for the half-year. It is stated that no difficulty will be experienced in maintaining this rate on the proposed increased issue of capital. New stores at Stratford, Eotorua and Ashburton will be operating before the end of this month. The directors propose to issue the present unallotted capital of 100,000 shares to shareholders at a premium of 10/- each_
