Several Croats, including the Parliamentarian Yvan ^ 'ossarolf, were shot dead by Serbian gendarmerie who fired on a meeting of the Croat Peasant Party at Novigra",ic to c r memorate Ihe deaths of Eaditch and other Parliamentarians who were shot in 1927. The gendrrmes declared that the meeting was not autliorised and op ned fire on it when it refused to disperse. The Croats clti' i that fivo aro dead and 15 aeriously wounded.
