MR. WALTER HENRY YOUNG

Mr. Walter Henry Young, wellknown iu musical circles in Palmerston North, passed away last week at the age of 57. He was in the grocery business for some years, but ill health forced him to give up this venture. He was a very active member of the Palmerston North Operative Society, . and had given valuable assistance in the society 's productions over the past 17 years. He was also a talented singer, and during the war was a popular figure at concerts and socials in aid of the Red Cross. A breeder of high-class poultry he gained many successos at shows. There was a large attendance at his funeral, and many beautiful floral tributes were received.
