PRAYER

For all in our living which we hate to reinember, forgive us, O God. Pardon our folly that we fill our lives with deeda whose recollection .ia our shame. Thou, who hast promised that as far as the east is from the west Thou wilt put our transgressions from us and remember them no more, help us to-day to be so surely penitent, that, deeply pardoned, we may be able to forget them, too. We lift our loves before Thee. We thank Thee lor all tbat is gracious and beautiful in tliem. If 'in those dear and sacred ties that bind us one to another in our lriendships and our families there is to-day any unholy thing, God save us frcm its desecration! May there be in us no hetraysal ot trust, no disloyaity to lovel Make us inwardly appreciative of and true to those atfectioxis which support, sustain, and enrich our souis.
