KARAMU TENNIS CLUB
In order to prepare a team for the inter-elub matches in the IJnited Tennie Association 's eompetition, the seleetor for the Karamu Tennis Club would like to see, at the court during the week-end, the following: Misses G. Giles, M. McGrhth, I. Ware, J. Batt, tY. Batt, M'. Craig and Messrs R. Coe, D. Southon, P. Tritt, G. King, O. Jonson and J. McGrath. All members of the club are elso rcquested to attend so that a ladder eompetition may be started. Matches to start at 10 a.m. The Baptist Sunday-school anniversary will be eelebrated to-morrow and tbe much looked-forward-to musical festival will be presented at tho three special scrviccs. In previous years a high standard in part siuging has been nttuined under tho balou -of Mr. J. Bewley who will again be in eharge o£ tbe singiug. Tbere has been an attractive selection of pieces and the young people, assisted by the members of the church choir, will give of their best to-morrow. After the training and preparation of the past weeks it is anticipated that the musical festival will bo highly enjoyable and successful. At 11 a.m. the Rev. J. Ings of Napier will conduct the service. The afternoon gathering at 2.45 will be conducted by the Rev. R. B. Gosnell while at 7 p.m. the minister, the Rev. C. B. Boggis will be the spealcer. Friends are urged to be in their places early.
