TURIHAUA A.A. SALE

100 Bulls Average 65 J Guineas HAWKE'S BAY PURCHASES With a really good demand a total of 100 purebred two-year-old Aberdeen Angus bulls were soid on account of Mr. H. B. Williams at the annual sale at Turihaua jStation, Gisborne, at an average of 65 1-3 guineas. Buyers from Gisborne, the East Coast, Wairoa, Hawke's Bay and Auckland districts operated. Top price for the sale was 95gns. paid by Mr. A. B. Williams, Puketiti Station, Te Puia, for a splendid young animal sired by K.V.M. of Turihaua, calved on July 19, 1935. The bulls came f orward in splendid order, being well grown and well furnished. In natural condition only, they have been grass-fed on. hili country, being the ideal type for slres to produce a high quality of beef. The offering were sired by K. V-hL of Turihaua, Bismark of Makaretu, Kalif of Turihaua, Glencarnock Kiug 111., Baldwin of Makaretu, Judge of Omarunui, Dagon of Turihaua, Bonaparte of Makaretu, Bruco of Makaretu, King of Ngawaka, Kamel of Turihaua iinrl Bnitns of Makaretu.

The sale was conducted by the following auctioneers in'conjunction: Gisborne Sheepfarmers' Frozen Meat and Mercantile Co., Williams and Kettle, lfiinited, Common, Shelton and Company, New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Dalgety and Company,' and Hawke's Bay Farmers' (Jo-operative Association.
