Actor's Brother Arrested (Received 28, 30.50 a.m.) NEW TOEK, Oct. 27. The Uiiited Press correspondent at Hollywood states tliat captain Sydney McRagleu, aged 48, the estfauged bro* ther of Yictor McLaglen, the screen actor. was detained for allegedly attempting td obtain 20,000 dollars from Pliijlip Chancellor* a wealthy Watcha maker. Mr Chancellor said he reftised to pay for certain materials which MeLaglefi furnished for a book which Mr Chaneellof was writiitg. The police overhdard a conversalion between Mr MeLagldfi and Mr Chancellor 's sccretary dllring which Mr McLaglcn allegedly sought tho latter5s aid in obtaining the sum. The arrest caused a furore. lt was at first feported that Oaptain McLaglen had been lcidnappfed,
