Mr R. A. Singer's Injuries GOVERNMENT OFFER

WELLINGTON, Last Night. A reward of £500 kas been offered by tke Government for information leading to the convietion of the person or persons responsible for the bomb outrage on Mr. R. A. Singer, the well-known Auckland barrister. He was severely injured when a boipb exploded as he walked into kis koine jn Grafton road about 6.15 pn tlie evening of Friday, J Uly 9- ' The bomhing was regarded as an attempt on Mr. Singer's life. Victim of one of the most startling bomb outrages in the history of New Zealand, Mr. Singer was in kospital for nearly a month. Several operations had to be performed to remove gbrapnel and gravel from various parts of his bQdy. Even to-day some splinters of tin remain. Regarded by the police as an attempt at inurder, every available deteetive waa assigned to tlie case. Inquii'ies have continued ever since.
