Mr J. Butler and Mr K. Hendry, oi i Wellington, _ wero visitors to Waipui kurau at the week-end. •j Mr B. 3. Atkins, of Wellington, visited his patents, Mr and Mrs B. J. Atkins, Waipukurau, during the week-end. Mrs 0. Murphy and her daughter Norma, of Wellington, former residents of Central Hawke's Bay, were weekend visitors to Waipukurau. Mr and Mrs L. S. F. Bell and daughter, Waipukurau, are holiday-making in the South Island. During Mr Bell's absence Mr J. M. Erwin is acting-man-ager at the Union Bank, Waipukurau. \ Mr W. J. Richmond, leller at the Bank of New South Wales, Waipukurau, gince the beginning of March, has been transferred to the Pahiatua, branch. The transfer will tako effect from November 12. His successor will be Mr F. A. Larsen, of Invercargill.
