"STREET SINGER'S RETURN." "The Street Singer'e Return" which screens to-night at the Eegent has been liailed with entbusiasm by tbe Press reviewers, and characteristic of their praise is English "Picture Shmv5' which says: "Here is a film that should be seen . . , a really first-class picture.55 In his new screen story, Arthur Tracy is supported by a big cast, including Arthur Riscoe, clown prince of comedians, lovely Margaret Lockwood, Hugli Wakefield, Rawicz and Landauer, celebrated piano duettists, Ellen Pollock and Lew Stone and his merry mu-sic-makers. Arthur Tracy appears as a famous singer, who quarrels with his leading lady and "walks out55 on the show in his "Street Singer55 clothes. Mistaken for wbat he looks, he is befriended by a beautiful girl who takes him to her teiiement home which she shares with her uncle and, with Tracy entering into the spirit of the adventure, the three become a trio of street entertainers. Meanwhile, the stage producers are searching liigh and low for Tracy, but Arthur has fallen in love with his litlle benefactoress, and refuses to be "found.55 How it all works out is delightfulJy told in 90 minutes of sparkling entertainment.
