SOCIAL AFTERNOON GIVEN BY METHODIST CHOIR CLUB

A very bright and successful social afternoon was given recently by the ' members of the Methodist Choir Club and was held in the Wesley Hall. The large attendance of members and visitors was presided over by tho vicopresident, Mrs Garland, in the .absenco of the president, Mrs idutherland. A very enjoyable programme was provided by Mrs W. H. Lee and Miss E. Compton (songs) and Misses C. Dewson and Johns (reeitations). The competition for the best decorated vase was won by Miss J. Symonds^ and the judgo Mrs Harvey, also dcmonstrated how^to do a layer bowl. The afternoon terminated with a dainty afternoon tea. •
