Second attraclion at tbe Muflicipal is a new musical entitled "Dance Band'' — a bright, fast-moviug film, guaranteed to dispel tbe blues of the most confirmed pessimist. "Buddy" Rogers, wbo makes liis British debut in films, portrays tbe role of a dance band ieader, in wbicb pai*t ho is tborougbly at bome, as it represents his actual occupation since his withdrawal *from American films. The story concerns the adventures of Buddy Morgan, famous dance band leader, wbo falls in love with Pat Shelley^ bcrself tbe leader of a ladies' band Sbo is at first inclined to repel his ad vauces, but being a detennined lover'bp pursues her with a determiuation whicb is not to be ignored, aria is at times too much for her sonse of humour, nb tjioiigb aJre resists bim with a determiu- 1" tdiou that is equal to his own.
