"I MET HIM IN PARIS" "1 Met Him in Paris" ecreens finally to-nigbt. "Tbe Street Singer'6 Return" whicb screens to-morrow at tbe Regen^ has been bailed with enthusiasm by tbe Press reviewers, and characteristic of tbeir praise is English "Picture Show" which says : "Here is a film that should be seen , A . a really first-class picture." In his new screen story, Arthur Tracy is supported by a big cast, including Arthur lliscoe, clown prince of comedians, lovely Margaret Lockwood, Hugh Wakefield, Rawicz and Landauer, celebrated piano duettists, Ellen Pollock and Lew Stone and his merry mu-sic-makers. Arthur Tracy appears as a famous singer, wbo quarrels with his leading lady and "walks out" on the show in his "Street Singer" clothes. Mistaken for what he looks, he is befriended by a beautiful girl who takes bim to her tenement home wbicb she ebares with her uncle and? with Tracy entering into tbe spirit of tbe adyenture, tbe three become a trio of street entertainers. Meanwbile, tbe stage producers are searcbing bigh and low for Tracy, but Arthur has f allen in love with his little benefactoress, and refuses to bo "found." How it all works out is deiightfully told in 90 minutes of sparkling entertainment.
