NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. ) Newall, of Christchurch, won the Taranaki circuhir road race around Mount Egmont. a distance of about 100 miles. M. Bayley (New Plymouthl and G. Parker (New Plymouth) gained fastest and second fastest times. Thirty riders contested tho race in fine weather on excellent roads. H. G. Watson (Christchurch) broke his chajn affor eight miles and had to rotire. J, Bicknell (Auckland) won the lUttiop championship. \
