PALMERSTON N., Last Night. The Manawatu golf championship was won by B. M. Silk, of Wanganui, wlio defeated Iv. S. Glendinning. of Manawatu, in the final by three and two. The following are the results:
E1RST ROUND •Collius beat Hornabronk, 2 and 1. Amon beat Troutbeck, at the nineteeuth. Ohapman beat Smith, 1 up. Glendinning beat Swaiuson, 8 aud 7. Armstrong beut Rodden at the nineteenth. Davies beat Olark, 2 and 1. Fryer beat Huggins, 4 and 3. Silk beat Romsay, 3 and 1, SECOND ROUND ^ Amon beat Collins, 2 and 1. Glendinning beat Chapman 3 and 2. Davies beat Armstrong 4 and 3.
