Palmerston-Wellington Riders Despatched

PALMERSTON N., This Day. With ideal conditions prevailing, 71 riders were despatched on the 100-mile v]'ourney to Wellington in the North Island amateur road-cycling championship. The limit rider, T. Young (Levin), 59 years old. was despatched by the Mayor at 9.30. It is anticipated that th© fastest riders will cover the jouraey in about four and a-half hours.
