Epraxia Denii, the Mother Superior until 12 years ago of the Convent of Agapia, near Jassy, Rumania, has died at the age of 101. She' entered the convent at the age of 18 and left it only once in her life, to be received by the Metropolitan. Aceording to official figures just published, the German commercial fleet has reached a figure representing 75 per cent of the pre-War tonnage, and now numbere 3579 vessels, with a tonnage of 3,900,000.
