Jio\vUng teams from Waipukurau, Pori Ahuriri, Dannevirke, and even as far as Wellington, met at the JPukeora banatorium to partieipate in games yesterday, Perfect weather added to the enjoyinent, and playera spenfc a very pleaaaut afternoon. Ad'ter the ma|ehes the visitors were entertained at # delicious affernoon tea, dispensed by the matron and staff, Mr. G. Poppelweli, on behalf of the Port Ahuriri Bowling Olub, preBented the "Cappy Smith Shield" for eoxnpetition between the Port Club and Pukeora Club. "Mr. Poppelwell, on behalf of the vieiUofs, thanked JPtikeora, and the matron and staff for the m°st enjoyable afternoon. Mr. J. Perry, in the absence.of Dr. O'Dea, in a happy little speech, and a very cordial welcome to the visitors, declared the green open, and then called upon Matron Ingles to roll up the firsfc jjowl.
