TATE'S SERVICES TERMINATED

"Making Way for Younger Men" (Received 21, 11.30 a.m.) LGNDON, Oct. 20. Northants is not re-engaging the former Test player, Clark. Slissex is not re-engaging Tate, who is receiving £250 in recognition of his services. Tate says : "I have been thrown out; I have not been told why." Mr Knowles, seeretary of the Sussex Committee says that the termination of Tate's engagement was purely a matter of making way for younger men.
