ST. PAUL'S CHURCH

, The indnction of the new Minister of St. Paul's Chnrch, Napier, the Rev. Stuart Francis, B. A., took place in the church on Tuesday evening. The Rev. F. W. Robertson, of Waipawa, Moderator of the Presbytery of Hawke's Bay, inducted the new minister, and the Rev. A. Dow, of Gisborne, delivered the charge to him. The Rev. D. J. A. Shaw, of Hastings, spoke to the congregation detailing the responsibilities of a congregation to its minister. At the conclusion of the induction service a social of welcome to the Rev. Francis and Mrs. Francis was held iu the church hall, when speeches of welcome were made by Mr. J. S. Butler, on behalf of the session, Mr. - J. M. Runciman, on behalf of tlie managers, and Mrs. Storkey, on behalf of the women's organisations of the church. Musical items werp rendered by the Napier Quartette, Mr. E. G. Steveirsoii, Mr. Ulric Williams and Mr. J. Drummond.
