THE CORRIEDALE SECTION

The entries in the Corriedale sheep section were well representative of the breed according to the judge, Mr Walter Ensor, of Waiwhare. The ehampion ram, under 30 months, exhibited by Mr W. Rayner, of Masterton, was a densewoolled sheep although he was inclined to be a little small. The winning exhibit in the ewe hogget class, exhibited by Mr J. Stringfellow, Masterton, the judge considered was one oi' the best entries in the section. She showed fully the characteristics of the breed, being of particularly higlx merit. This hogget had beautifully dense wool showing a great crimp.
