PUBLIC EXAMINATIONS
Napier High School Entrants University entrance examinations entries from evening classes in Napier have sliown an increase, while those from the day school have dropped, aecofding to a report made to the Napier Secondary Education Board 011 Tuesday by the principal of the Napier Boys' High School, Mr W. T. Foster. A contributing factor of both tnese changes is thpt several boys have left during the year to go to work. Mr Foster reported that the numbers entered for coming departmental and university examinations were: Training College Entrance 5, Public Service Entrance 5; School Certificate, day school 29, evening school 12; intermediate uxamination 12; University Entrance, lay school 33, evening school 10.
