NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENT ANON: Your criticism is not wellfounded. The Hastings picture-theatres are all air-conditioned. The air, maintamed at an even temperaturej is continuously drawn off so that at the end of less than half an hour the entire air content of each theatre has been completely changed. The Municipal Theatre is also efficiently ventilated. All theatres are subject to strict control and mspection and must conforui to stringent regulations regarding exits and ventilation as Jaid down by*"the Health Department.
