Attraction at Palmerttoii Accoyding to present iudieations the approaching Eoyal Sliow will be the biggost, in all phases, ever held in New Zealand, delinito advice having been received that entries of dairy cattle, horses, pigs and sheep will be forwarded from as far away as Whangarei and Invercargill, besides nmnerous intervenmg ceutrcs. Pedigreo boof and cattle seetions at the Show have been endowed with exceptionally liberal pri2e money, additional financial . inducemehts having been provided by the breed societies. Trophies, including challenge cups, together with cash prizes being offered represent a total value of approximately £4000. The Show takes place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 4, 5 and 6, and entries close on October 21 with the secretary, Mr Hugh Kissling, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
