German Air Force Officers RECEPTION AT THE PALACE

(Eeceived 19, 12.30 p.m..) EUGBY, Oetober 18. This evening the King will receive at Buckingham Palace a party of officers of the German Air Force, led by General Milch, German Air Minister, wliich has arrived at Croydon for a week's visit as the guests of the Air Council. The invitation wag given in hckqowledgment of the hospitality estended earlier this year by the German Air Force to a number of officers of the Eoyal Air Force. The party visited the Air Ministry, where they were received by Viscount Swinton. Tonight thv./ will attend a dinner given ,by the Air Council. The programme includes an inspection of the fighter station at Hornohurch, of the army cooperation units at Odiham, Hampshire, and the big bomber station at Mildenhall, and a visit to Cranwell, where cadets are trained for the Eoyal Air Force. A flying display will be given at Mildenhall including, if conditions are suitubie, a massed fly-past by tho latest bombers.
