WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The closing day of the Mt. Herbert Golf Club was hold at the week-end, and players from all paris of the district took par't in the games. Porfect Weather prevailed, and afternoon tea was •dispensed at the leisure of the players. Aftfer the matches, the various prizes and medala were given out by the president. The prize list is as follows: — Men Senior championship, Mr P. Jamcs; runner-up, Mr R. Blair. Junior championship, Mr E. Taylorj runner-up, Mr S. Bryce. Eclectic competition, Mr B. MacKenzie.
