PIGEON RACING
Hastings Homing Club The Hastings Ho'ming Club flew their second Masterton raee last Saturday in. dull weather. The birds were liberated by Mr. W. Harding, of Masterton, at 10 a.m. and tbe race ended in a close finish, only a few seconds covering Ihe first four birds. Eesults. — L. Harrison-'s B.C.P.H. Golden Queen, 987.9 yds. per min., 1; L. B. Wallace, and A. Harrison.
