(Beceived 16, 1L50 a.m.) MADElD, Oct. 15. The 'insurgents bombed from the the thiee cities Gijon, Infiesta and Oarlagena. Over 1O0 bomhs JfeB at Gijon. Forty were kUled and 60 injured, A large area of Ihe oity was laid in ruins. Infiesta sufPered two successive xaids. Several blocks of houses were set on fire. Oartagena also suffered severely,. Five rebel pianes bombed Cartagena and swept the streets with maehinegnn fire. Ten were killed, including the commander - of tjxe battleship Jiaime I. Government flghters drove off the rebels, bringing one down at .sea. A fierce battle is being waged 15 miles from Saragossa, which is the objective of the Government drive. The Government forces are attempting to push round the insurgent lines along the Pyrenees frontiex. Heavy losses have been sufPered on both sides. A Valencia message xeports that a thrilling dawn raid on the rebel aerodrome at Baragossa is deseribed in a Government communiqne. One hundred pianes made a surprise attack
