Monthl^ Meeting of Committee Thp monthly meeting of the Hastings West School Gommittep was hpld oa Thursday evening, there being a full attendance. The headmaster reported that thp roll nuniber was 344. Thp report of tiifi agrieultural instructor, f ollowing " a yisit to the school, was placed before the committee, and general satisfaction expressed upon "the school having "such an pxcellent report in this respeet. Sundry small repairs were authorised and authority given for the piirchase of cricket material. It was also decided to grant a .whole day's holiday for ihe second day of the Show.
