GIFT PARTY FOR A BRIDE-TO-BE
Mrs Malcolm Brodie, wearing a model frock of bioge lace with a shoulder spray of natural flowers, was hostess at a gift party given at her home at Korokipo yesterday afternoon for Miss Violet C'otton wlio leaves Napier for Wellington this month, departing from tliat city early in the New Year for Engiand where she is to be married. Miss Cotlon was wearing a smart ensemble in brown and white with hat to tono. After a delii-ious afternoon tea had been served, the gucst of honour open; ed the many parcels she had received, and thanked everyoue for their charming gifts and tlie good wishes that liad been showered npon her.
