Mrs, Ghambers welcomedher guests when they arrived and escorted them all over the gardens. explaining much of jnterest about the various flowers. shrubs and trees. The garden wasi look-' ing very bright ancJfa bed of very gay nemesia in many shades was much admired, also a long bed of blue nemesia and anofher bed oF*vivid shaded ranunculixs. • ' ■ ' m -'\ Many very beautiful flowering cherry and apple trees were a lovely sight and bloom looked most gay. Under some of bright little- patches of tulips in full the lovely old trees which add such a charm to this very beautiful garden Were beds of ciuararias, soon to he n most beautiful sight, and other beds of white, blue and mauve scillas were very pretty. In severai piots of polyanthus some fine blooms were to ho. 8een -and a large variety of uncommon shrubs were of grcat intex'est to th« members. After the gardens had been eeen most thoroughly the members motored back to Di*. and Mrs K. E. Cromptoxx's home, where Mrs Crompton, the leader of the garden circle, had itivited them to be her guests i'or afternoon te». Aftex' - tea.
