H.B.'s RUGBY CAPTAIN MARRED IN HASTINGS

0LOTH1ER— HOLLAND The wedding was quietly solexnnxsed at the Methodist Churcb. Hastings, this morning of Rhona Evaline, only daughter of Mrs K. Holland, Caroline road, Hastings, and Lawrence Seymour, eldest son of Mr"; aud Mrs F . C. Clothier, of Napier, captain of the llawke's Bay "Rugby representative team. The Rev. R. B. Gosnell officiated at the ceremony and Miss Napier presided' at the organ. The bride, who was given away by liei- .brother, ,Mr A. Holland, looked : most charming in a very smart navy and white ensemble. A redingote oi' navy and wbite patterned day-time net was worn over a irock of heavy navy georgette. A mother of pearl clasp finishod the belt and the coat had a small codar eifect eaught in Jt'ront witlj & small bow, while the sleeves were long and fitting. She wore a navy ha!o crownloss hat with tiny navy and white flowers edging the halo. navy shoes and gloves and carried a bouquet of scarlet anemones, carnations and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by one bridesmaid, Miss Isobel Wright, who wore a frock of Marina, blue georgette with inset pleats on the skirt. The corsage was shirred on the shoulders and a posy of pale pink anemones was worn at the neck. A very pretty double circular clasp of tiny multi-coloured petals finished the belt. She wore blue shoes and a blue stitched taffeta halo hat and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and fern. Mr W. Clothier was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Pasadena tearooms. where about 40 guests were received by Mrs K. Holland, the bride's mother, who wore a tailored costume of grey tweed flecked with blue, a fawn fagotted blouse and smart blue straw spring hat with touches of white. She wore a squirrel necklet, navy ehoes and gloves and carried a posy with touches of blue. Mrs F. C. Clothier. the bridegroom's mother. wore a mulberry suit flecked with rose beige with a klce blouse also in this shade and a mulberry shaded hat. Her flowers were iu deep red tonings. Miss Valmai Clothier, the bridegroom's sister, wore a dusky rose suit with navy blue blouse, navy hat and accessories. When the bride and bridegroom left for their honeytnoon ixx the south, the bride looked very smart in a tailored costume of mole English tweed, Her iace blouse was in a very pale mole^ shade and she wore a smart little hat of spring felt in the sanie shade. Browxx suede shoes, gloves and purse completed her ensemble and she carried a swing back coat of brown moJeconey fur. Among .the many presents were two presentations, one to the bride from the staff of Halleristeins, and One to the bridegroom from tbe Napier High School Old Boys' Football t'lub, and also several cheques.
