Elderly Man Found Dead in Thermal Pool

ROTORUA., Last Night. An old-age pensioner named Bobert Johnston, aged 70, was found early this morning lying dead in a thermal bathing pool in Kuirau reserve. A resident, Mr F. B. K. McArthur, was taking an early morning walk through the reserve when he s&w a pair of feet protruding from the water of the pool and on investigating discovered Mr Johnston, floating face upwafds. A doctor and the police were imraediately calldd, tho doctor stating that death was probably due to hcart failuro. Mr Johnston was rescued from the same pool in June, when he had almost expired and wa)s on tho point of drowning. So far as is known he had only one relative, a son rosiding in Auckland.
