Rissington Meeting How to make inexpensive Christmas presents was demonstrated to members of the Rissington "Women 's Institute at tlieir monthly meeting by Mrs. "Noel West. Mrs. West displayed many of the finished articles and shovved members how to make a useful work-bag, whieh was greatly admired. Miss Spencer presided over the meeting. Miss Ruby Armstrong, who was one of the first members to join the Rissington Women' s Institute, was present as a visitor. Another visitor, Mrs. Chapman Taylor, spoke at length on social purity. The competition for the day, the best six eggs, w«ts won by Mrs. Carmiehael, Mrs. Hutchinson being second. A sixpenny bring-and-buy was held to assist the institute 's funds,
