In tke hope of produeiiig a flow of well-equipped recruits to industry, Lord Nuffield has offered £1,000,000 to Oxford University to endow a college devoted to social studies, and also a site. He offers an additional £200,000 with Ihe objeetive of facilitating co-opera tion between academie a:nd non-acade mic persons.
