Mrs. Don Bradman Fined.

A fine of £1 was imposed on Jessie Martha Bradman, vvife of Australia's champion batsman, at Norwood Court, Adelaide, l'or a breach of the traffic reguiations, Defendant was charge d with having driven a car over an intersection at a greater speed than 25 m.p.li. Sergeant Bourke said Mrs Bradman \vas travelling towards Adelaido at a speed of 40 m.p.li. When questioned she said she was accustomed to driving in Victoria, and was not aware that she was breaking the law. Mr. Wood, J.P., said Mrs. Bradman should have been conversant with the traffic regulations, as she had been in South Australia for about two years.
