Porangahau Football Dance.
The annual dance of tho Porangahau Football Club was held in the Town Hall, Porangahau, and in spito uf' boistei'ous weather, a large crowd was present. Music was supplied by Otene 's Majestic orchestra and extras wero played by Miss Taylor. Members of the team assisted in the serving of supper, and daneing continhed until a late hour. Interesting Talk at Ormondville. Miss Florence Smith, late of the mission eervice of Southern India, gave an interesting address in the Parish Hall, Ormondville, upon the progress ot Christianity in the Native States of South India on Friday night. Miss Smith had with her an interesting colIectioii of curios and concluded her address by expiaining several uses and meanings. Canon T. C. Cuilwick thanked Miea Smith for hcr address.
