Manchester Unity Oddfellows and candidates for Initiation are reminded that the Hastings lodge will hold its regular meeting iu the Oddfellows' Hall, Market street, on Tuesday next, at 7.30 p.m. The, date of the visitors' night has been altered to Oetober 26. The final concert of the Hastings Orchestral Society will be held in the Hastings Municipal Theatre to-night. A reminder is given of tho annual meeting of the Mahora Swimming Club which will be held in the echool-room to-night at 7.30. Members of the Hawke 's Bay branch of the Carpenters ' and Joiners' Union of Workers' are notiiied of the monthly meeting to be held to-morrow (Tuesday) evening at 7.30 in the Friendly Society Hall, Hastings. Members of the Havelock North Ladies' Golf Club .are reminded that a one-day tournament will be played on the Havelock links on Thursday, Oetober 14, cpmmencing at 8.45. Tenders for the erection of seven single-house units and two two-houso units in Hastings will be received by; the Director of Housing ConstructiOn, Dominion Farmers' Institu'te, Wellington, up to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2. f
