CHARGE OF RECEIVING
Labourer Remanded Charged with receiving stolen goods, Hilton Trevor Ewart, labourer, aged 26, appeared before Mr. J. Miller, S M., in the Napier Magistrate's Court yesterday, and was remanded until Wednesday for the purpose of obtaining a report from the probation officer. A previous charge of breaking and entering was withdrawn by the police when Bwart pleaded guilty to the second charge. j Detectire-Sc-rgeant H. Nuttall said that* the liight following the burglary at the store of Mr. H. Smith, of Carlyfe sireet, accused received a quantity of tobacco from two juveniles wlio had appeared before the Court on Tliursday.
