What China is Seeking HER LACK OF MUNITIONS (Iieccived 11, 10.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 9. Emphasi'sing that he was giving his pcrsonal opinion, Mr Wang, China's Minister of Finance, who has been on an oxtended visit to the United States, stated in an interview to-day: — "I expect China to ask the NinePower Conference to apply economic sanctions against Japan and to supply munitions to Ckina. "China is .fighting the battle of all peace-loving democraeies. We are not seeking military intervention. Concerted action by other nations is the most important faetor. "Japan is unable to prevent munitions from Teaching China, because slio does not eare to interfere with foreign shipping. "China has men capable of resisting the invaders. She laclcs only tnunitions."
