Oullen, M.P., leaves Hast- S ings late this afternoon for Palmerston I North, and to-morrow goes on Wejling- ^ toi. , The Rev. Pathcr Eiordan, of Taradale, hag been ehosen to represent the ( Roman Catholic Maori Missions at the Ducharistic Missionary Congress, to bo held shortiy at Newcastle, New South 1 Wales. - E Canon Stephen Parrt prineipal of j College House, Christchurch, will leave New Zealand in November to study j Iheosophical education in England. He j expects to be away for about a year. Mr J. Quill, for several years a , member of the Public Trust staff at ' Wanganui, who returned on Tuesday * from a six months' holiday tour to 1 Britain and Germany, has been trausferred to Greymouth, where he has been appointed district solicitcr in the Public Trust Office.
