Takapau Club's Annual Gathering

TAKAPAU, Last Night, The annual diuner of the Takapau Football Olub was held on Thursday evening in the Takapau Hotel, when there was a large assembly of playera and officials, presided over by the president, Mr R. A. Fraser, he foilowing toasts* were honoured: -The King (tbe cliairman); Central Hawke's Bay Sub-Union (Mr N. M. Paulsen-— Mr A. L. McCormick); Central Hawke's Bay Refereqs Association (Mr W, Cuthbertson — Mr C. M. Williamson); Takapau , Football Club (Mr Ricketts — Messrs Fraser and Johnston; kindred sports (Mr C. R. Edgecombe — Dr. J. m. Coutts); host and hostess (Mr W. Hobson— Mr J. Murphy); coach-selector (Mr W. Johnston — Mr N. M- "Paulsen); club olKcers (Mr A. S, Aldrich— Mr W. C, Wylie), Items and songs wero giveu by Messrs N. C, Wylie, C. Pease and £3. MLydford.-
