OBITUARY
MR. THOMAS STUBBS Mr. Tliomas Stubbs, aged 90 yearg, a weli-known and nighly fespccted citizen of Napier apd father of Mrs, S. O. Lambert, of Napier, passed away at the Napier Public Hospital on Eriday, The late Mr, Stubbs was born at Wellington, Somerset-, England, and came to New Zealand, first following his occupation as a plasterer at Dannevirke and then mpviug to Napier, where he spent the rexnainder of fiis life with the exception of seven years when Ee w.as in the Auckland district. The deceased was a well-known citizen of Napier, and the sympathy of a wido circle of friends "will be extended to I his brother, Mr. Joseph Stubbs, England ;a son, Mr. James Stubbs, Auckland, and his danghter, Mr?. Sii H. Lambert, pf Napier, The funeral took place yesterday afternoOn at the Parke Island Cemetery.
