PLUNKET SOCIETY MAKES ANNUAL APPEAL
Wonderful "svork is done throughout the wh'ole year by the Hastings Plunkot Society nand though funds . are always needed to carry on- this good work only one annual appeal is made beside the tw'o jumble eales held each 'year. Ver|y many people have been pleased to-'- ficcep't the good advice and hcip whichsthe society, givcs so' willingly and hext Saturday, these .fdlk and all.'otherA interested in furthering. the. work' of the society will, havo an opportunity to express their gra.titude as this day has been,. chosen for the annual appeal. 1^ has been decided to' hold a shop in the •vacant-building nea.r -tlie Cosy Theatre and here -will. be stalls-for ,prordude,. cakes; flowers and seedlihgs, books and oddments.
