WHANGAREI, This Day. A serious position, which will result in t'he cessation of hewing, has arisen at the Kamo Collieries Ltd. mine. The Kamo Company, which is opetting a new field, has heen served with an interim injunction from' the Supreme Court to stop immediatfely further pumping and allow the water to riso baek to the old level. The reason given for this action ia a fear in some quarters that further dewatering of old mine workings might cause a subsidence of the main northern railway line. In the past twelve months the company has employed approximately 70 nren.
